Would your child like to take up clay shooting?
Field Sport UK have a Young Shots programme which is held once a month. This is clay shooting lessons for children, and is great for kids who have never tried it before.
This session will be a mixed class of children of the same ability and will consist of a 20-clay shooting lesson, which will include all equipment needed.
Children will have a progress card so the instructor can structure the lesson each time they attend to the individual child's needs.
You can opt to book your child in every month or whenever suits you, as long as it is on a Young Shots date.
Our clay shooting instructors will show them everything they need to know. We teach in a structured progressive manner, so not to bombard them with too much information at once, and which allows them to progress their knowledge and skills at every lesson.
A Clay Shooting lesson consists of:
- Safety Brief
- Consultation
- Shotgun component principles
- 10 key points of safety
- Gun handling
- Master eye check
- Stance
- Gun mount and fit
- The CPSA “method” on how to shoot a moving target
- Comprehensive lesson with clear and understandable instruction
- Feedback and progression plan
