CPSA Shotgun Skills Course in Derbyshire
This is a modular course which allows you the opportunity to learn more about shotgun handling, safety and shooting technique
Module 2a and 2b is a more detailed course with an off-range theory session covering:
- Gun fit and master eye check
- Stance
- The CPSA 'Method' in detail
- Safety
- Personal Protection Equipment
- Shotguns - types and choice
- Cartridges and Proof
- Chokes
- Proof Marks
- Law
- Gun Cleaning
This will be followed by an on-range session where you can put your theory in to practice.
On completion you will receive a Diploma and a qualification log book showing you can safely handle a shotgun without supervision, which is recognised by CPSA affiliated and registered shooting grounds.
You must complete Module 1 discover clay target shooting before you can do Module 2a & 2b shotgun skills.
